China Visa Medical Glasgow
Dr Carole McAlister is a FCO (Foreign and Commonwealth Office) registered doctor.

Procedure:
You should allow two hours for the medical (including the X-ray). The Doctor will go through your medical history and then undertake a thorough physical examination consisting of height, weight, urine, vision, examination of your respiratory, cardiovascular, abdominal, neurological and musculoskeletal systems. An ECG (Electrocardiogram) will also be undertaken.

The China Visa Medical includes:
• General medical examination
• Chest X-ray
• Resting ECG
• HIV test
• Syphilis test
If you do not know your Blood Group an additional test will be required - £60

Please bring with you:
The medical form. This can be downloaded at the top of this page
1 recent passport photo
Your passport
Your glasses or contact lenses
Copies of any significant hospital letters, abnormal results etc

Locations:
The medical is carried out at GP Matters (24 Buckingham Terrace, Glasgow, G12 8ED). The chest X-ray is carried out at the Nuffield Hospital (25 Beaconsfield Rd, Glasgow G12 0PJ) - 5 min drive from the clinic - we will arrange it for you just after your medical.

After your China Visa Medical:
 Please allow 3-4 days for your China Visa medical to be finalised. This will then be e-mailed to you and the original document can be collected or posted to you.

Fees
China Visa Medical - £500
If you do not know your Blood Group an additional test will be required - £60

Please note that in the event that your Visa is not granted we cannot refund the cost of your China Visa Medical.
