Vitamin B12 Injections
Vitamin B12 deficiency occurs when a lack of vitamin B12 causes the body to produce abnormally large red blood cells that can't function properly.

Treating vitamin B12 deficiency
Most cases of vitamin B12 deficiency can be easily treated with injections or tablets to replace the missing vitamins.

Vitamin B12 supplements are usually given by injection at first. Then, depending on whether your B12 deficiency is related to your diet, you'll either require B12 tablets between meals or regular injections. These treatments may be needed for the rest of your life.

In some cases, improving your diet can help treat the condition and prevent it recurring. Vitamin B12 is found in meat, fish, eggs, dairy products, yeast extract (such as Marmite) and specially fortified foods.

Vitamin B12 injection price
Cost: £100 (includes the appointment fee)

Before any vitamin B12 injection is given we will need to know your level of vitamin B12, therefore a blood test will need to be done.
If you have had it done within the last 3 months then we can accept that result.
If not, we would need to do a blood test with an additional charge of £160 (£60 for the test + £100 for the consultation), we usually get the result of this test within 1 day (therefore the vitamin B12 injection will not be administered at the initial appointment and another one will have to be arranged).
